One of the more terrifying creatures from the Chaos Zone is the cerebral chaoworm, a parasitical worm that consumes the brain of its host and commandeers its body.
Unlike other traditional parasites, cerebral chaoworms are sentient creatures with individual cultures based on geography. They choose their hosts carefully and often work with other creatures for a mutual goal.
Many cerebreal chaoworms have taken it upon themselves to be part of the Chaos Zone’s line of defence from corporate interests, taking over executives and steering them away from interdimensional business.
Cerebral chaoworms take over a host through the eye socket, burrowing into the brain and replacing one of the host’s eyes with their own singular orb. Reproduction involves repurposing the host’s reproductive system for their own purposes, creating a new chaoworm from the organs involved.
