The final choice in forming the band was the drummer, a choice between Bonnie (described as a guide from the mirror’s other side) and Tarro, the tarasque (a turtle/lion/dragon from French lore).
Tarro eventually won over Bonnie by three votes.
Tarro became the band’s drummer and also its tank due to his heavily armoured body. As the original tarasque was subdued by a Christian saint, Tarro has also taken to Christianity although his particular take on it is rather skewed.
In his backstory for Mega Frankenstein, Tarro was originally a wild man-eating monster who was slain by the band and resurrected in his current benevolent (if a bit strange) good natured self.
